La Petite Banane Productions is also known as the Dymund family. I am Sarah. ‘La Petite Banane’ was the nickname my husband Michael came up with for our wee zygote and The Baby Blog was begun during our first daughter, Rowan’s gestation as a way to keep our far-flung family and friends informed about the pregnancy. It continued to serve that purpose (and others) through my second pregnancy and the birth of our second daughter, Lilah.

The Baby Blog found other purposes and readers along the way and kept me busy (with a little help from two children less than a year-and-a-half apart) for a little over three years.

After a little over three years, I felt the need to talk about something other than babies, and in January 2007 I packed my blogging bags and moved.
