Well, this is it. The baby blog’s last post.
We have got a new URL, for reasons both personal and professional, and I will be hanging my blogging hat on a new cyber-hook.
If you are looking for me, I can now be found at in the rough. I think the new place is rather pretty, so come on over and have a look-see.
I have loved the baby blog and all the friends I have made here, but I need to move on. I hope that most of you will follow me on my virtual move as you have through my physical moves.
It’s been fun, but you can’t stay a baby forever.
cross ‘em if you’ve got ‘em

Michael is interviewing for a job this morning right here in the land of free rent and babysitting.
Any powers of positive thought you possess would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Miscellaneous is a great word.

Sarah’s not really had a chance to blog since we’ve been here in lovely, cold cold cold Swift Current. So I thought that I might take this opportunity to catch up on a couple of things.
Rowan has a cold. This puts her in much the same league as her Grandmama.
What her Grandmama doesn’t have, though, that puts Rowan ahead, is a mild throat infection. She’s fine, and has a very odd smelling prescription. The very nice doctor was apparently not able to say definitively whether it was strep or a mild case of tonsillitis. But one side of the inside of her throat was more pink than he might like. So we’ve been giving her this syringe filled with smelly stuff thrice daily since Monday, and it seems to be working. It’s hard to tell, though, because of her cough — and the fact that we’re not trained medical professionals.
We think that part of the issue with her need of tissue is the climate here: much drier than at home. So a humidifier has been set up in our room to help keep her respiratory system up to its usual snuff.
She did have a mild fever last night; a whopping 0.5 degree above normal. One shot of little people Motrin and half an hour had her back down. And it’s not come back since.
We really do hope that she’s feeling better soon, though. It’s amazingly tough to watch your own child go through a nagging persistent cough. And all of the wonderful snot bubbles, too!
Through it all she’s been amazing. Her mood hasn’t really been affected and she’s been smiling and happy. She even received a visitor today, after no nap! And was smiling! And giggly! And playing with the poor woman’s necklace!
And sneezing all over everybody.
